If you think the fortieth book in the Bellingwood series will be an easy ride for Polly Giller, you'd best think twice. She doesn't make it through the first chapter before her world is upended. It takes everything she has to get through the next part of her day.
Her friends want to help, but even in the midst of Polly's exhaustion and worry, they need reassurance everything will work out. Next thing on her list? One phone call was all it took for the Renaldis to swoop in and set up shop.
The plot continues to thicken as they approach Christmas. While Polly is caught up in the mystery, her family and friends continue to live their lives. All she can do is hold on for the ride.
