Deep, Dark and Dead

The charge against Shane Stafford was 'Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm'. Stafford had attacked a gossip journalist called Gavin Legge. Legge had been engaged at one time to Shane's twin sister. In Shane's view Legge had not just let down his sister, but had subsequently hounded her to suicide. It was the custom of the hot-tempered Stafford clan to stick together. But reckless actions have unpredictable - and even more ominous - consequences.
