Roger and Tara have one job.
They're portal keepers. That means when members of the Fae Realm visit their bookstore, they open the portals that allow travel from the human world to the Fae Realm. Not only do they need to be able to spot the fae among the humans, they have to keep a low profile while doing this, and attract no attention to themselves. Roger has made mistakes in the past, and this job is their last chance to remain on good terms with the Fae Court.
