Donut Summer (2025)
Anita Kelly
"An absolute knockout of a debut. Penny's voice sparkles with wit, and the portrayal of her anxiety deftly balances honesty and humor to make readers feel not just seen, but cared for. This book so thoughtfully takes on the big, messy project of growing up: figuring out who you are, and then maybe changing your mind, and being loved for it - not in spite of it. A warm, well-crafted romance runs alongside a resonant reminder that when it comes to our goals there is so much value in the trying, no matter where we land in the end. Sure to be one of my favorite books of the year, Donut Summer is a gift to me and everyone who has the good fortune to read it."

It's Not Me, It's You (2024)
Alex Light
"Set in the endearingly comedic world of Monte's Magic Castle, It's Not Me, It's You thoughtfully captures how it feels to be directionless and unsure at the outset of adulthood. Jackie's voice is funny and engaging, and I loved watching her progress from enemies to allies to much, much more with Wilson. Alex Light has gifted us a sweet coming-of-age romance about one girl's journey to chart her own course and figure out who she is - and what happens when we stop focusing on everyone else's stories to start writing our own."

Love, Off the Record (2024)
Samantha Markum
"The perfect blend of heart and heat, Love, Off the Record is the rivals-to-lovers romance of my absolute dreams. The tension between Wyn and Three crackles like a bonfire, every pop and hiss of rage bringing us one lick closer to the inevitable, delicious combustion point. I so sincerely love Wyn - who refuses to give credence to toxic narratives about her own body, whose loneliness is achingly palpable, who I want to wrap in a handmade Middle-earth blanket and hug forever. I loved watching Wyn unbury her own self-worth as she opened herself up to receiving love from the people around her. Truthfully, I'd read Samantha Markum's grocery list; witty, hilarious, heartrending, and swoony, Markum's is one of my very favorite voices in YA."
