Elusion

My life consists of three things:
Hunger. Anger. Death.
Hunger I’ve gotten used to, while anger fuels my soul and keeps me going.
But death is a bit tricky for me.
Some days, I pray for it.
Some days, I fight it.
Some days, I’m the one dealing it.
But lately, there's a fire building in my soul overruling them all. Every day it burns brighter, making me yearn for something I had nearly given up on.
Freedom.
The key to that is over six feet tall, with sharp teeth.
He's a boogeyman. A legend. Everyone is terrified of him.
Except me.
Because you see, I'm a monster too.
