Shadows on the Hudson

Anna Makaver, who escaped the holocaust with her ultra-religious father, runs off with Hertz Grein, a married man who had known her when she was a young girl. This event sets off a series of reactions which disturb the already angst-ridden circle of people that are centred around Anna's father.
