Twelve years ago, the Jessup family up and left their home in the Atlanta suburbs for the small mountain town of Chancey, Georgia. Carolina had sworn she’d never live in a small town again, and yet there she was, with teenagers and a husband who had a dream to open a bed-and-breakfast for railfans. But this time, she might actually have a good reason.
Dealing with loss, adult children, and aging parents makes finding future happiness a struggle. Carolina is trying to figure it all out - like so many who find their empty nest filling back up just when they are wanting to spread their own wings a bit.
