One squad ravaged by hopelessness, the other crippled by guilt. As the world faces its nemesis, who will stand for humanity?
The End is Coming – Are You Ready?

In this double-sized finale to the Weapons of Choice Series, Delta leave Echo behind to defend Earth as they head out of the Solar System in search of a weapon ‒ a final spark of hope against S’lgarr and his brothers as they subjugate humankind for food. In their frantic search for answers, they return to Havenhome, the original planet of the Haven who took humans from Earth, seeding them around the galaxy to prepare the way for their colonisation. Here they face an old enemy, Xxar, who in the short months since they left has started to rebuild the once mighty Haven Scientocracy.

Delta move on to inform the seeded worlds of S’lgarr’s rise before arriving on Stratan in search of the ocean-spanning alien and the crystals they need. On leaving, they understand the true impact of their previous selfless acts as alliances old and new choose to make a last stand beside them.

Meanwhile, Echo Squad take on brutal mission after mission, seeking to secure the UK and its people from the ravages of the Garr. With their newly recovered Explorer providing what it can, they make a desperate attempt to rescue the US President, only to fall foul of an unknown Garr whose might lies in a Hive mind. Reeling from pain and loss post-mission, Echo begin to fall apart, forced to make agonised decisions in the face of humanity’s end.

On reaching Earth, Delta find a near devastated Echo engaged in a desperate raid to recover Zuri’s Battle Armour and plaque stolen in the Antarctic, and cracked by S’lgarr. The attempt leaves Echo in tatters, but reinforced by the Stratan Marines, the remaining combined squads take the war to the alien and his brothers, working hand in hand with the world’s resistance.

As the ante rises, and humanity’s future in the balance, they realise the end is coming ‒ who will survive?
