For the straight-laced DC Lucy Taylor, her transfer to Edinburgh is the start of a brilliant new stretch of her career. But she never could have expected what she'd find on her first day, namely her new boss, DCI Ross Marshall. Brash, dismissive, and willing to bend and break the rules, everything a good copper shouldn't be.
