The Highlander

With clouds of approaching war hovering above Texcoco, Kuini did not expect to get into too much trouble when tempted by his friend to sneak into the dazzling capital of the Lowlands, to gape at the pyramids of the grand plaza or enjoy forbidden drinks of the marketplace. Neither did he expect to run into wild imperial daughters set on seeking adventures of their own.
However, when caught by the royal guards, accused of the crime he did not commit, he found himself in a desperate struggle to survive the city facing a perilous war, involved in political schemes, uncovering dark secrets concerning his own family back in the Highlands.
