The TARDIS is working for once and the Doctor and Peri find themselves with nothing to do. Peri suggests they take a holiday, which prompts the Doctor to consult the Holiday Ball which in turn prompts him to visit Tranquela, a peace-loving country where there has been no war for over fifty years. However the Dwarf Mordant, a Salakan merchant, is not happy about the Doctors visit and before its over the Dr and Peri are going to need a holiday to recover from their holiday. This is a sixth Dr story that takes place between "Revelation of the Daleks" and "The Trial of a Time Lord".
