Jaden Terrell recommends
Jury Rig (2012)
Korey Kaul
"Korey Kaul's Jury Rig hooked me from the beginning. Kaul's trial consultant Kate Summerlin is a unique and likable protagonist who finds herself targeted by a sociopath whose henchmen think he's the devil. Kaul mixes horror and humor with a deft hand."
And Then You Were Gone (2019)
R J Jacobs
"Rich characterizations, exquisite language, and a subtle thrum of tension . . . In Emily Firestone, Jacobs has created not just a heroine, but a fully realized person whose bipolar disorder is sensitively and realistically handled. I was riveted from the very first page."
