Potions and Problems
(2027)(The third book in the Gerri Wilder's Magical Midlife Reset series)
A novel by Milly Taiden
Truth-telling muffins, a matchmaking eleven-year-old, and one very tempting bear shifter.
Rune Taloryn has spent years caring for everyone in Spelltide Cove while carefully ignoring her own needs. Then her magical baked goods start broadcasting feelings she’d rather keep private, her herb supply turns suspicious, and Gerri Wilder decides Rune has hidden behind everyone else’s problems long enough. Apparently, privacy is no longer an option.
Daxen Kohen has a wildlife sanctuary, a precocious daughter determined to fix his love life, and zero interest in being anyone’s matchmaking project. Then Tessa points him toward Rune, and his bear immediately decides she’s the one. Daxen plans to stay focused on the strange behavior affecting his animals. Rune’s smile, her lavender-and-cookie scent, and his daughter’s relentless enthusiasm are making that increasingly difficult.
When Rune discovers someone is deliberately contaminating Spelltide Cove’s magical herb supply, the investigation turns dangerous fast. With animals under attack, powerful magic spreading through town, and Daxen refusing to let her face it alone, Rune may finally have to stop taking care of everyone else long enough to fight for something she wants.
Potions & Problems is a steamy paranormal women’s fiction shifter rom-com featuring midlife magic, a protective bear shifter, a pint-sized matchmaker, found family, magical mayhem, and one witch discovering it might finally be her turn for happily-ever-after.
Genre: Paranormal Romance
