Nick Malone had it all, wealth, a beautiful home and a healthy four-year-old child. That was only because of a miracle, a successful heart transplant when Danny was a mere toddler. As a single father, he has devoted his life to keep him safe and free from any signs of rejection. That also meant he couldn't risk his vulnerable son getting attached to his favorite nurse. This wonderful boy stole her heart from the beginning, and she soon becomes attached to him, as well as to his father. All her life, she's yearned for a home, even her marriage didn't fill her heart like the two Malone men. Yet, her chance for happiness could be snatched away once Nick learns her secret.
