Erica J Whelton

Erica Whelton lives in Texas with her husband and a house full of crazy pets. She has three grown children and three beautiful grandsons who are the light of her life.

Her love of books started young. Her mother made sure she and her brothers always had stacks from the library, and Erica would spend hours devouring them. But her path to writing began with sleepless nights. When she struggled to fall asleep as a child, her parents told her to tell herself stories. They'd point to the sweet animal posters on her walls and say, "Tell stories about them." She still uses this technique to quiet her brain today.

Years later, after many false starts, she finally completed her first book in October 2016. Now she writes across multiple genres, bringing the same sense of wonder from those childhood stories to every page.

She also enjoys the process of making tea, animals, the color pink, and basically anything awesome.
