Hattie Williams

Hattie Williams left education in her teens to pursue a career as a musician. She has toured Europe extensively, made three studio albums and worked as a composer with her tracks still regularly featured on TV and streaming services across the world. In her mid-twenties she found herself working in publishing quite by accident, and an admin temping job turned into a twelve-year career in which she worked with some of the biggest authors in the world. She is the former producer of Reykjavík's Iceland Noir Literary Festival.

Hattie’s debut novel, BITTER SWEET is out now. She lives in east London.

And Notre Dame is Burning (2025)
Miriam Robinson
"And Notre Dame is Burning is a heartbreakingly beautiful novel about the beginnings and ends of life and love and marriage, told with such deft precision that it feels both like a conversation with your best friend, and like discovering a literary masterpiece. Every single page holds some gem of wisdom. The prose is iridescent; It actually sparkles on the page. There are echoes of Claire Kilroy and Miranda July here, in that this is a wildy honest novel about the female experience. What a thrill to read such an extraordinarily accomplished debut. Miriam Robinson is a vital new voice in literary fiction - I absolutely loved it and can't wait to see what she does next."
