Someone is selling dark magic on the streets so the Brethren have called in Hex to put a stop to it. But this time they may be asking too much. Werebears, fae princes, and the Russian mafia are all determined to take Hex and Vusi down.
But they didn't figure on the fact that Hex don't lay down for anyone. And now they're all wishing that instead of taking on New York's finest warrior mage, they had just stayed at home with a mug of cocoa and a good book.
Because Hex is on the warpath...and this time he's real pissed.
