From Saxon Andrew comes the newest book in A Dangerous Universe Series. These are stand-alone books that revolve around the idea that we live in a dangerous universe. Each book is a complete story and is independent from the others.
A Dangerous Universe 8 - Escaping Destiny takes place in the distant future when advanced humans have evolved from normal humans. They are more intelligent, stronger, and faster than normal humans and these advanced humans are responsible for developing new advanced technology. They ultimately discover how to build a stardrive freeing humanity from Earth. The Age of Colonization begins and within two thousand years, more than a thousand planets have humans living on them. At that point, the advanced humans decide to leave normal humans and live together. The Great Exodus starts and soon, the new Plus Humans are attacking normal human planets taking slaves to build their civilizations. The advanced evolved Humans are quickly becoming the masters of humanity, and nothing can stand up to their warships. However, evolution is a trickster and has a way of creating turmoil; the new Masters never saw what was coming; neither did the rest of humanity either.

Kata looked at Tory on her monitor and said, ‘Why haven’t we gone down and taken him, we know where he is?’
‘This has to be done fast, Kata. And getting him out of that building with all its defenses will delay us. We have to wait for him to be out in the open. My ship will move in and keep any warships off you while you move him on board using a tractor beam.’
Kata shook her head, ‘You have to be the one to pick him up Tory!’
‘I’m better at holding off the defenses!’
‘But if he hears me telling him I’m picking him up, what do you think he’ll do? He could refuse to cooperate because of his hatred for me.’ Tory stared at her and then nodded. ‘I’ll keep the warships at bay, you just get him on board and make a fast get-a-way!’ Kata said in a hard tone.
Tory turned to his scanner and said, ‘He’s left the building and is headed toward one of those factories. Get ready to launch! We will jump in directly above the planet and you will set up a field of fire preventing any warships from moving in above us. I will go to the surface and retrieve him in a tractor beam!’
‘Shouldn’t we bring both of our squadrons in?’
‘No, we can’t jump in close with that many hyperdrives operating so close together! Set up a blaster field and keep those warships at bay!!’ Tory paused and ordered, ‘JUMP NOW!’
