D.K. Bolton is armed with an MFA in Creative Writing, a wicked imagination, and enough caffeine to rival a sorcerer’s potion stash. She weaves cozy fantasy and women’s paranormal fiction that will leave you spellbound, laughing, and sometimes craving snacks. Her stories are packed with magic, midnight mayhem, and characters who always seem to stumble into trouble—but never without a good comeback.

When she’s not crafting tales of whimsical worlds and fiery heroines, D.K. can be found sipping lattes (often cold, thanks to mom life), chasing her wonderfully mischievous little one, or debating with her husband about whether it’s “research” or just an excuse to watch another fantasy movie. Writing is a family affair in the Bolton household, where her kiddo provides endless inspiration, and her hubby is her biggest cheerleader (and occasional snack-fetcher).

Living her delightfully cozy life in the heart of the Midwest, D.K. firmly believes that magic is everywhere if you know where to look—and that every great story deserves a touch of humor, a sprinkle of romance, and at least one hero who can’t quite get their act together.
