Leslie Budewitz blends her passion for food, great mysteries, and her native Montana in The Food Lovers' Village Mysteries for Berkley Prime Crime. New York Times best-selling mystery writer Sofie Kelly calls it A delicious new series. Death al Dente, first in the series, won the 2013 Agatha Award for Best First Novel.

A Montana native, Leslie graduated from Seattle University and Notre Dame Law School. After practicing in Seattle for several years—and shopping and eating her way through the Pike Place Market regularly—she returned to Montana, where she still practices law part-time. Killing people—on the page—is more fun.

Leslie loves to cook, eat, hike, travel, garden, and paint—not necessarily in that order. She lives in northwest Montana with her husband, Don Beans, a singer-songwriter and doctor of natural medicine, and their Burmese cat, Ruff, a book cover model and an avid bird watcher.

A Streetcar Named Murder (2022)
(New Orleans Mystery, book 1)
T G Herren
"Take a trip to New Orleans without leaving home in TG Herren's A Streetcar Named Murder. When an insult from her PTA nemesis forces empty-nester Valerie Cooper to reconsider her life, she never expects change to come in the form of an antique shop inherited from an uncle she never knew her late husband had. That's just the beginning of the family secrets in this delightful series debut that will leave you swinging your beads and planning your next Mardi Gras costume!"
A Dismal Harvest (2022)
(Marketplace , book 2)
Daisy Bateman
"Wine and cheese have never been so deadly delicious as in Daisy Bateman's A Dismal Harvest. Claudia Simcoe is a wry and introspective sleuth, determined to discover who killed the thief who disrupted her harvest dinner by sneaking a mysterious package out of her farm-to-table marketplace on the edge of California's wine country--though it might prove easier to figure out who didn't want the man dead. A dash of history, a splash of romance, and an intriguing hint of what's to come make A Dismal Harvest a gourmet treat for lovers of cozy mysteries and foodie fiction."
Killer Chardonnay (2020)
(Colorado Wine Mystery, book 1)
Kate Lansing
"Parker Valentine...will steal your heart and pair it with a smooth mystery in this sparkling debut. A wine rack full of suspects won’t stop the determined sleuth and vintner from bottling up a killer and saving her dream. Killer Chardonnay has legs!"
