Their Flarepath the Moon

September, 1939

The ferocious attacks of rocket-armed Beaufighters from Italian bases against German shipping ports in the islands of the Jugoslav archipelago had reached desperate intensity.

Hurtling few over the water with little chance of survival, airmen faced heavy fire from shore batteries, flak ships and E-boats.

The Germans strove to send reinforcements and supplies to their armies in Italy but the R.A.F. were determined to sink them.

In the heat of battle, one barely takes notice of his enemy.

But Flying Officer Peter Knight and Lieutenant Erich Hafner recognised each other's aircraft markings.

Time and again they meet in the air as each fights to defend their sovereign nations.

In each battle, the pilots seek out and stalk their enemy.

Their final deadly fight, one that will determine the outcome of the war, the fate of Britain and indeed the world, looms ever closer.

These two young pilots are posted to the same clandestine squadron and immediately come into conflict.

Set against the backdrop of the R.A.F.'s battle against the Nazis, Their Flarepath The Moon is a thrilling war epic filled with as much excitement as it is historical authenticity.
