I’m working on my graduate thesis about American painter Josephine La Monte when I find a letter stuck between the pages of her journal. It’s a love letter addressed to her, but it doesn’t say who it’s from. So with the help from the cute librarian, we take a trip to the historic La Monte family home to see if we can find any clues to his identity. What we find may change history and change our future in the process.
