THE PORTAL

Bone and Loraine explore the cave in north Texas where they found the ancient American Indian portal. Loraine finds a walnut-sized ruby cut to fit in the grooves of the spiral portal.
The placement of the ruby determines where in time the portal opens up.
They first travel to 1623, a few years after the Spanish had visited and meet Tosahwi, a Comanche who takes them to his tribe.
The medicine man offers them a basket of multicolored, fresh water pearls as a gift. They decide to return with Chickasaw leader Anompoli Lawa (Doctor Winchester Ashalatubbi), Padrino and a mule loaded with trade goods for more of the pearls from the Wichita tribe who harvest them from Lake Caddo.
That's when things begin to go amiss with a run in with two outlaws who followed them through the portal and renegade Kiowa, enemies of the Comanche.
They have to rescue the two outlaws who don't comprehend what cause and effect can have on time.
