Eva Glyn loves to write emotional women’s fiction inspired by beautiful places and the stories they hide. Her passion is to travel (when possible, of course), but luckily She finds inspiration can strike just as well at home or abroad.
Her last holiday before lockdown was a trip to Croatia, and the country’s haunting histories and gorgeous scenery have proved fertile ground, driven by her friendship with a tour guide She met there.
His wartime story provided the inspiration for The Olive Grove and his help in creating a realistic portrayal of Croatian life has proved invaluable. Her second novel set in the country, An Island of Secrets is a dual timeline looking back to World War 2. Both are published by One More Chapter, a division of Harper Collins.
She is also inspired by the work of her own favourite authors, who include Victoria Hislop, Rosanna Ley, Angela Petch and Elizabeth Buchan.
Although She is Welsh She is now happily settled in Cornwall, and lucky enough to have been married to the love of her life for more than twenty-five years.
Eva also writes as Jane Cable.

The Teacher Evacuees (2025)
(Teacher Evacuees, book 1)
Rose Warner
"A wonderful blend of friendship, romance and drama... Impossible to put down. This is such a satisfying book, and I thoroughly recommend it."

Atticus Arnott's Great Adventure (2025)
Caroline James
"As with all Caroline James's novels the characters shine from the page in glorious technicolour and even the ones with little more than walk on parts will stay with me for a long time. If you, like Atticus, hanker after some winter sun, this is the perfect book to take you there."

Under the Lemon Tree (2025)
Emma Cowell
"Under the Lemon Tree seals Emma Cowell's place as mistress of the Greek romantic novel."
