Tears of the Dragon

It is 1931, Chicago, the height of the Depression, and Elodie Browne is lucky to have a job at all. But when, late at night, she hears sinister noises as her elevator doors open on the wrong floor, she tries to put it out of her mind. Jobs are too hard to find, and she doesn't want to make trouble for herself.Glad of any extra money, she accepts a job serving at a party given by Mr. Lee Chang, an importer of antiquities and jade. Whilst there, Elodie recognises an associate of Al Capone.
