Natalie Hames

Natalie Hames is an English author who lives on the North Nottinghamshire borders a stones' throw away from Sherwood Forest. She lives with her two children and rescued Boxer dog whom she refers to as her 'third child' and when she's not writing crime fiction based around the East End of London she can usually be found spending time with her children and walking the family dog. Even though Sherwood Forest is only a short drive away she has yet to see any men wearing green tights!

Natalie has a passion for noir, crime thrillers with a twist and police procedurals,especially when they are corrupt, and her character DS Connolly frequently bends (or snaps) the rules to get justice. She has, and always will, write in UK English and refuses to conform to US spellings so please don't mistake this for typo's. Her author idols include Martina Cole, Val McDermit, Mel Sherratt and Angela Marsons, although there are many more.
