The Dress Lodger

It is 1832 and Sunderland is in the grip of a cholera epidemic. Gustine, a young prostitute, walks the streets, passing the dead and dying, but her only concern is saving the fragile life of her baby. Surgeon Henry Chivers seems like her only hope, but Henry's obsession with her child is growing.
