Patti Miller

Patti Miller was born and raised in Newport News, VA—a hub of military influence from all branches, near Camp Perry (a well-known CIA training ground), Langley Air Force Base, Fort Eustis, and Naval Station Norfolk to name a few. 

She was also just a short drive from Washington, D.C.—she grew up surrounded by stories of courage and adventure. As an only child, she found her own excitement in books, often lost in worlds of danger, heroism, and hope.

Now living in North Texas, Patti cherishes the time spent with family. An introvert by nature who prefers the comfort of animals over social gatherings, she finds peace and solitude in the company of her dogs and in nature. 

She has been happily married to her best friend, Jamie, for 42 years, and is a proud mother to three grown children—Melissa, Crystal, and Corey—as well as grandmother to three wonderful grandchildren, Aiden, Leo, and Avery.
