Maryann Jordan has always been an avid reader. Her early memories were of her mother taking her to the library and allowing her to check out as many books as she could carry. Her favorite books were checked out numerous times and read over and over. She would use her Barbie dolls to play out the scenes in books (such as Nancy Drew!).
She worked as a counselor in a high school and has been involved in education for the past 30 years, until retiring in 2015. She has been married to a wonderfully patient man for 35 years and has 2 adult, very supportive daughters. When writing, her dog or one of her cats will usually be found in her lap!
