(b.Nicky Singer has worked in publishing, the arts and television. She is the co-founder and co-director (1987-1996) of Performing Arts Labs, a charity dedicated to training new writers for theatre, screen and opera. She started her writing career at 15, writing the lyrics for a cantata.
She is the author of several adult novels, two works of non-fiction and various short stories, which have been widely published and broadcast..
Nicky lives in Brighton with her husband and their two young sons and a daughter.
