A level 1 cat lady, S. E. Wendel loves making maps and intricate magic(k) systems and writing kickass women. She earned her MA in Creative Writing from the University of California, Davis, where she made all the established authors groan by doing a fantasy thesis rather than literary fiction. She lives for good coffee, pink nail polish, and sweater weather. Her cat and characters rule her life, and she wouldn't have it any other way!
