Murder at the Isleview Hotel
(2027)(The ninth book in the Margaret & Mona Ghostly Cozy series)
A novel by Diana Xarissa
It’s Christmas on the Isle of Man and Margaret and her boyfriend, Ted, both have family coming to visit. Margaret’s Aunt Fenella is back on the island with her husband, Daniel, planning for a short visit before they return to their honeymoon. Ted’s sister comes across with her boyfriend. And both of his parents, along with their new partners, make the trip to Douglas. Margaret’s sister, Megan, travels to the island as well, and she’s happy to be there after a long journey.
The journey felt longer than it should have because of one particularly unpleasant passenger. And Megan is less than thrilled when she discovers that the difficult man and his group of friends are all staying at the same hotel where she and Margaret have reservations. When the sisters find the man’s body, though, it looks as if all of their holiday plans might have to be put on hold for a murder investigation.
Margaret doesn’t really want to get involved in the investigation, but she does want the killer found and put behind bars as quickly as possible. If that means asking a few questions and talking to a few suspects, then she’s prepared to do just that. And she knows Mona is going to interfere as well, which might just be a good thing, because the sooner the killer is found, the sooner Margaret can get back to work on finding the perfect Christmas gift for Ted.
Genre: Mystery
