Lisa Yee recommends

Angel in My Pocket (2011)
Ilene Cooper
"A charming and heartwarming story about finding friends in the most unexpected places. We should all be so lucky to have an angel in our pocket."

Troublemaker (2022)
John Cho
"Complex family dynamics are at the heart of this compelling fast-paced debut novel. John Cho's highly personal Korean American perspective of the LA Riots combine harsh realities, racial tension, and ultimately hope."
