From the International bestselling author, Saxon Andrew, comes the third book in the Star Chase Series, Nowhere to Hide. The newly formed Alliance is faced with a difficult choice of either maintaining a low profile as the massive Invader Fleets attack the civilizations in the giant galaxy, M87, or joining them in defense of their galaxy. The Invaders have more than a billion two mile long Battleships and advanced technology that threatens to overwhelm the defenders. The consensus is to stay out of the fight but Dee Montgomery senses that the Milky Way will be attacked within two years if the Invaders are not slowed down in M87. The Alliance is in a dire situation and there's not much time to decide what to do.

The action continues as the Alliance is forced to decide whether to defend the galaxy that attacked them or look for a place to move their populations. It's becoming clear that escape will be next to impossible; there's nowhere to hide.

Excerpt from Star Chase-Nowhere to Hide.

The ship that emerged into space above the planet was larger than the capital city on the surface. It extended a force field more than eighty miles wide above it, as thousands of large troop carriers began leaving its giant landing bay and started dropping toward the city below. Twenty thousand warships jumped in and began firing on the giant intruder but their most powerful beams were easily shrugged off. The defenders were not so fortunate. Massive beams began lancing out from the giant Invader ship hitting them and most of those ships that were hit were vaporized. Thousands of additional warships started jumping in and the thousands of beams being fired at the intruder began targeting small areas on the intruder's force field. The intruder was forced to reduce the size of its huge force field to prevent its hull from being hit. But it didn't have to maintain the force field much longer. The troop transports would be in atmosphere shortly.

The Nephew looked up and said, "Father, two small green ships have arrived and our beams are not getting through their force fields."
"Target them with multiple beams."
"We're firing twenty at them now."
The Father instantly changed his display from the troop transports to the small green ships and saw them flickering four hundred miles out. They accelerated and began moving in at an incredible velocity; he began to feel apprehension. "Target all our beams at those two ships."
One of the small green ships was hit with forty huge beams and after twenty seconds exploded. The second leaped forward at an incredible speed.
Two hundred beams began turning to fire on the small ship but never had the opportunity to lock on the small target. The Green Ship fired a twenty mile wide beam that blasted through the force field above the planet; it hit the giant transport in the center and the giant Invader blew up in a massive blast. After the huge force field disappeared, the surviving warships fell on the landers before they could make it into the planet's atmosphere; the defender's beams blew all of them into debris, which, along with the giant transport, became brilliant meteorite showers on the planet below.
The Commander of the defenders looked for the Green Ship to offer thanks but it had disappeared. The city was lucky to have survived. Three other large cities that were targeted by the Invaders' initial scouting mission weren't. Millions of inhabitants were stunned and lifted off their planets to the giant ships hanging in orbit. The Invaders withdrew before they could be stopped. The survivors knew the invaders were coming back.
