Peter Manuel was hanged on July 11, 1958 in Barlinnie Prison, Glasgow. This was the first book to investigate in detail the extraordinary life and crimes of Peter Manuel, which culminated in the murders of no less than 9 people within 2-yrs: victims chosen at random and apparently slain for the sheer love of killing. The one time Manuel stole money it was the money that led him to the gallows.
