Kit Brooks is the author of The Last Immortals series.

 She is inspired by a love of axolotls and a fascination with their exceptional regenerative abilities, as well as the environmental challenges they currently face as an endangered species.

 Kit lives in a small village, where she enjoys creating epic adventure stories inspired by real axolotl behaviors.
