Emily-Jane Clark

Emily-Jane Clark is a comedy writer and author of CRINGE CLUB - the best-selling series for tweens, and the award-winning BEASTS OF KNOBBLY BOTTOM: ATTACK OF THE VAMPIRE SHEEP which was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize and won the Fantastic Book Prize! She has also written the sequel, THE BEASTS OF KNOBBLY BOTTOM: RISE OF THE ZOMBIE PIGS and a bestselling book for grown ups called SLEEP IS FOR THE WEAK.

Her latest book in the CRINGE CLUB series, SUMMER OF SUFFERING.

Emily-Jane is also a writer for TV shows including The Mash Report, The Jonathan Ross Show and Mock the Week. She won the Craft of Comedy UK's New Writing Competition, made the BBC Comedy Writers Room longlist and was a finalist in the Funny Women Awards. Before she wrote words for money she was a holiday park entertainer, failed pop star, gherkin girl at McDonalds, journalist and feature writer for Metro UK, Mirror Online, New Statesman and Huffington Post UK.
