S.M.'s journey to writing led her through a number of different careers--college history teacher, criminal prosecutor, and bed and breakfast owner. Thankfully she now writes full time and never has to cook breakfast again. She currently lives in the mountains of Northern New Mexico with her indulgent husband and dozens of rescue animals.
