Casey McQuiston grew up in the swamps of Southern Louisiana, where she cultivated an abiding love for honey butter biscuits and stories with big, beating hearts. She studied journalism and worked in magazine publishing for years before returning to her first love: joyous, offbeat romantic comedies and escapist fiction. She now lives in the mountains of Fort Collins, Colorado, with a collection of caftans and her poodle mix, Pepper. Red, White & Royal Blue is her first novel.

Felix Ever After (2020)
Kacen Callender
"A firecracker of a book from an author with a powerful point of view, Felix Ever After is refreshingly real—full of queer kids who live and breathe and swear and love and make messy mistakes. Teens need this one."
Make Up Break Up (2021)
Lily Menon
"A delightful, clever enemies-to-lovers romcom full of Menon's trademark sunshine with a bit of extra heat, Make Up Break Up will make you swipe right."
Some Girls Do (2021)
Jennifer Dugan
"Earnest, wistful, romantic, and real, Some Girls Do captures butterflies-in-your-stomach, most-important-thing-ever first love and still finds room to explore the messiness of coming out and coming of age queer."
Don't Hate the Player (2021)
Alexis Nedd
"Refreshingly voice-y, wildly smart, and genuinely hilarious."
With Teeth (2021)
Kristen Arnett
"With Teeth took me to a seedy Florida lesbian bar, handed me a flat beer with lipstick on the rim, and told me a story I couldn’t walk away from even if I tried. An exquisitely unsettling, brilliantly layered, darkly funny novel that’ll make you question your own perceptions."
The Witch Haven (2021)
(Witch Sisters, book 1)
Sasha Peyton Smith
"Smith opens a trick door between bruising history and glittering fantasy, to a place that will leave you drunk on secrets and dreaming of magic (and murder). The Witch Haven is spectacular, singular, and spellbinding."
Book Lovers (2022)
Emily Henry
"Charming, earnest, and clever, Book Lovers is Schitt's Creek for book nerds. A total delight for anyone who's ever secretly rooted for the career girl in a Hallmark movie. Nobody does it quite like Emily Henry."
Love Radio (2022)
Ebony LaDelle
"We've been waiting for an author like Ebony LaDelle. Love Radio is mega swoonworthy, effortlessly cool, and full of heart. Turn this one all the way up."
Queerly Beloved (2022)
Susie Dumond
"Susie Dumond's Queerly Beloved is like a great cake: warm, light but still richly layered, and bursting with sweetness."
Yerba Buena (2022)
Nina LaCour
"Yerba Buena is at turns decadent and spare, intimate and elusive, as balanced, fragrant, and masterfully crafted as a fine cocktail in the hands of someone mysterious and beautiful. This book is a precious thing."
