Jennifer Malin once aspired to limit her reading to only the classics. Then one day during her college years her mother lent her a Regency romance, telling her, "This is like those Jane Austen novels you read." The story captivated her so much she stayed up all night to finish it. When she started seriously writing, romance was the genre she chose.

She hopes her books bring readers some of the enjoyment she's found in the work of others. Some of her favorite romance authors include Mary Balogh, Laura Kinsale and Joan Smith. Besides Austen, her favorite classic writers are Shakespeare, Eliot and Hardy.

Her first published novel, As You Wish, appeared in January 1999 as part of Jove's Time Passages series. In January 2002, Eternally Yours helped launch Jove's Love Letters line. Leisure Books released her historical, For the Love of Lila in May 2002. She is also a past winner of the Golden Heart award, presented by Romance Writers of America.

Jennifer lives outside of Philadelphia with her husband, Martin, an Australian national. Besides reading, the two of them love music and travel. She's been to Europe and Australia three times each and plans to keep expanding her horizons whenever possible.
