Suzanne Nelson is an author, an editor, and a Taurus. Being the granddaughter of a German-American potato farmer, she loves German dishes, especially sausage with sauerkraut and potatoes. When she visited Germany and Austria on a backpacking trip, she ate dinner in beer gardens and sang embarrassingly loud on The Sound of Music tour. She lives with her husband in New Jersey.

"This book made me want to sleep in a hammock in a treetop bungalow surrounded by the novel's lush, magic-steeped gardens. Eloise's journey to healing is poignant and tender--a testament to the strength of love, the power of tending to earth and growing things, and found family."
