For Arturo Sandus, starship Captain and inadvertent time traveler, things were finally on the up and up. With the new Roman Republic firmly established, he could finally step back from the limelight and concentrate his energies on escalating the technological progression of the Empire, as he still intended to return to his original home in the Federation at some point. To achieve that dream, he first needed to establish a space program, which was going to be difficult but hopefully would not prove impossible. He was optimistically confident that stripping down his derelict shuttle would provide the scientists with the kickstart they needed.
