Robot Artists and Black Swans (2021)
Bruce Sterling
"It's all here, this time with an Italian flavor: the inventive tech, the meticulously detailed futures, the stylish and sardonic prose, the creative adjectival combinations. Set in Turin, Rome, and an upgraded Hell (Italian designers are good), these stories could only have been written by Bruce Sterling. Treat yourself to one of the most original voices in science fiction."

Keepers (2018)
(Project Earth, book 2)
Brenda Cooper
"A gem‒a complex and plausible look at what we might face someday, and how we might respond."
thumb
The Calculating Stars (2018)
(Lady Astronaut, book 1)
Mary Robinette Kowal
"An engrossing alternate history with a unique point of view, The Fated Sky dramatically demonstrates the technical problems with going to Mars?but the technical problems are the not the only ones. Never backing down from vital issues of race and gender, The Fated Sky confronts the human issues of space travel in a United States made increasingly desperate by a massive meteor strike. Plausible, convincing, and ultimately moving."
thumb
Traveler of Worlds (2016)
Robert Silverberg and Alvaro Zinos-Amaro
"Zinos-Amaro is a skilled interviewer and Silverberg a brilliant polymath looking back at a long life well spent... I learned something on every page."
thumb
The Library At Mount Char (2015)
Scott Hawkins
"The most genuinely original fantasy I’ve ever read. Hawkins plays with really, really big ideas and does it with superb invention, deeply affecting characters, and a smashing climax I did not see coming."

Afterparty (2014)
Daryl Gregory
"I can't recommend this novel highly enough!"
