Tailbone (2026)
Che Yeun
"In terse yet poignant prose, Che Yeun's debut takes an unflinching look at what it means for a teenage girl to come of age in a society wracked by economic instability, consumerism, and desperation. A story of friendship and resilience, Tailbone is at once gritty and tender - a trim novel that nevertheless packs an emotional weight."

Honey in the Wound (2026)
Jiyoung Han
"Honey in the Wound is a spellbinding debut, both a lyrical fable and unflinching testimony. Jiyoung Han deftly weaves magical realism into a devastating account of the Japanese Imperial Army's brutality in the early 20th century, granting her characters - and voices like them silenced throughout history - power and agency. The resulting work leaves one shaken. Absolutely unforgettable."

A Beast Slinks Towards Beijing (2026)
Alice Evelyn Yang
"A mesmerizing and atmospheric debut, A Beast Slinks Towards Beijing presents an unflinching account of the most painful decades of modern Chinese history. With gorgeous prose and expert storytelling, Alice Evelyn Yang paints an astute portrait of a family cursed by generational trauma yet bound by love. This is a novel that will stay with readers for a long time."
