Alwyn Hamilton was born in Toronto and spent her childhood bouncing between Europe and Canada until her parents settled in France. She grew up in a small town there, which might have compelled her to burst randomly into the opening song from Beauty and the Beast were it not for her total tone-deafness. She instead attempted to read and write her way to new places and developed a weakness for fantasy and cross-dressing heroines. She left France for Cambridge University to study History of Art at Kings College, and then to London where she became indentured to an auction house. She has a bad habit of acquiring more hardcovers than is smart for someone who moves house quite so often.

Julie Kagawa
"Fateless is a breathless page turner packed with action and adventure and world ending stakes that kept me hooked beginning to end. But more than anything I tumbled head first into the world of Fateless. With history and lore both sprawling and deep rooted, I cannot wait to spend more time adventuring through this excitingly changing landscape with Sparrow and her crew."

All That Glitters (2019)
(Enchantee, book 1)
Gita Trelease
"An intoxicating blend of opulence, magic, intrigue and romance. Gita Trelease deftly balances a spellbinding story of desperation and deceit on the precipice of the epic revolution that changed history. Camille's tale wrapped around me as entrancingly as her magical gown. J'étais enchantée par ce livre."
