USA flag

Travis Heermann grew up on the plains of rural Nebraska, reading about hobbits, vampires, Cimmerians, Tharks, and Jedi, and this forever twisted him into his current warped persona. These characters so inspired him that he started writing novels when he was 14. Since then, he has been an electrical engineer, a dairy farmer, a construction worker, a web designer, a comic shop clerk, a pilot, a game designer, a martial artist, a bookseller, an English teacher, and a freelance writer, in no particular order. He spent three years living in Japan, working as an English teacher, returning to the U.S. in 2006. Since 2006, he has been a full-time professional writer, with designs on an M.A. in English.
