Francesca May recommends

Her Wicked Roots (2025)
Tanya Pell
"Darkly enchanting, Her Wicked Roots is haunting, propulsive and as hypnotic as the poisonous blooms at the novel's heart. Truly a bewitching sapphic delight."

The Book of Autumn (2025)
Molly O'Sullivan
"A refreshingly sunbaked dark academia set amidst the mesas and ranches of New Mexico, O'Sullivan's debut is scorching with romance and magic, ambition and power, and the insidious nature of grief."

Six Wild Crowns (2025)
(Queens of Elben, book 1)
Holly Race
"A glittering, magnificent epic, dripping with menace and brimming with female empowerment. Absolutely incredible."
