NEW ORLEANS MAGIC SERIAL
After a murder at a voodoo ceremony in a charming New Orleans bistro, three street cops, Jordan O'Reilly, Liam O'Reilly, and Zachary Doucet, have a personal stake in solving the case. But if they meddle in the investigation, they may get thrown off the force - or worse.

PART 2: LIAM
Liam O'Reilly doesn't have to wear the uniform to be a cop, he is the uniform. Disciplined and skeptical, Liam doesn't believe in voodoo any more than he does in lasting love. But then he meets brash defense attorney Simone Jones... and his carefully structured world spins out of control.

New Orleans Magic: Jordan... Liam... Zachary... Each of these compelling stories ends with an HEA for the hero and heroine. But only the full set will finally get to the bottom of the murder mystery. Be sure to read them all!

Excerpt:
"I'm here to see Jordan O'Reilly," an in-charge feminine voice announced.

Liam's head jerked up. Striding toward him, blond corkscrew curls framing her pretty face, lush red lips tensed into a battle line, was none other than Simone Jones.

Liam's pulse picked up its pace. He'd faced the defense attorney in court several times. Of course he'd only needed to experience her brand of cross-examination once to know all he needed to know about her. She might look as cute as Meg Ryan in one of those quirky old comedies, but she was as ruthless as a shark that smelled blood in the water.

He stepped in front of her, barring her path. "What do you want with Jordan?"

The fluorescent lights reflected off a large Pegasus brooch pinned over one breast of her power suit. She stopped a few inches from him, a golden wing nearly touching his chest, and looked up. Slightly tilted at the outside corners, her blue eyes were as exotic as her scent. "Hello, Officer O'Reilly."

He pushed away from the wall and uncrossed his ankles, positioning one foot slightly behind the other for balance.
"What do you want with Jordan?" he repeated.

"Your brother is my client."

Liam took a step back. If he'd been thinking straight, he wouldn't have been surprised. There was no other reason for her to be at the station this morning asking to see Jordan. But somehow she'd caught him off guard. She always did. And that was the thing about her that drove him craziest. "Camille DuPree called you?"

"Camille's a friend of mine. A good friend. I'd move heaven and earth to help her and her fiance. Your brother is in good hands, Liam."

He wanted to believe her, for Jordan's sake. And everything he knew about Simone suggested she could defend Jordan against any charge the DA could throw at him. But Liam had learned long ago not to trust anything he couldn't control.

And he didn't have the slightest idea how to control Simone Jones.
