Sarah Mughal Rana recommends

Deathbringer (2026)
(Deathbringer, book 1)
Sonia Tagliareni
"Tagliareni's novel is sure to be the top fantasy of the year, distinguishing itself in an overcrowded market. Viola is an unforgettable heroine, and her complex dynamic with Sylas will make readers root for them and cry with them. Dark, rich, and deeply felt from betrayals, this is a must-read for every fantasy lover."

What Fury Brings (2025)
(Wrath and Fury, book 1)
Tricia Levenseller
"Tricia Levenseller's romantasy is unhinged in the best way: fearless, unforgettable, and unlike anything else in a booming romantasy genre. With reverse gender dynamics that actually mean something, Levenseller flips the script and asks the difficult questions while shattering expectations about power, vulnerability, and desire when the roles are reversed. She has balls of steel - and the book is all the better for it."
