Nell Zink recommends

Ruth (2025)
Kate Riley
"A detailed, delicate study of how character is formed by collision with so many sharp corners that they form a perfect circle - how we entrap ourselves in the choices of others, glimpsing freedom in flashes."

Eurotrash (2024)
Christian Kracht
"There's a refreshing bright moral clarity to Christian Kracht's Eurotrash. Less than eighty years ago, grandpa was enslaving people to death. So when you learn that your share is 14 million Swiss Francs, how do you make it right?"

Reboot (2024)
Justin Taylor
"Justin Taylor is cursed with equal portions of modesty and genius. What inevitably results is a multilayered masterpiece about a paradox."
